BrightStar Care of Leesburg and Gainesville is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients in the Front Royal, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patients' medical histories, treatments, and progress.
Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and update care plans accordingly.
Care Planning: Develop, implement, and update patient care plans based on evolving needs and treatment goals.
Clinical Support: Administer prescribed medications, injections, treatments, wound care, and other medical procedures with precision.
Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to patients and families, fostering a comforting and supportive environment.
Family Communication: Collaborate with patients' families to provide updates and clear communication about care needs and treatment plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN): Must hold an active and valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
Clinical Experience: Proven experience in home care, skilled nursing, or a similar healthcare setting is highly preferred.
Healthcare Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and patient care best practices.
Confidentiality Compliance: Strong ability to manage confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA and other legal requirements.
Clinical Proficiency: Excellent clinical judgment, assessment skills, and the ability to perform medical procedures safely and effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Stress Management: Ability to remain composed and solve problems effectively under pressure, while maintaining a compassionate demeanor.
