We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our rapidly growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling our operations and optimizing our forecasting strategy.
About the Role As a Senior Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an accurate demand forecast to support a business that is scaling aggressively. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, mitigate supply risks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Own and refine the demand planning process, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts, inventory strategies, and production capabilities. Analyze historical sales trends, market dynamics, and new product launches to enhance forecast accuracy. Develop and implement forecasting models, utilizing statistical analysis and demand sensing techniques. Collaborate cross-functionally to assess risks, opportunities, and constraints in meeting demand. Monitor forecast performance metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turns) and drive continuous improvements. Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, ensuring key stakeholders are aligned on demand signals and supply constraints. Leverage ERP and planning software to manage data-driven forecasting models. Provide insights on demand trends and contribute to strategic business planning.
Qualifications
5+ years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain experience in a fast-growing, high-SKU environment. Expertise in statistical forecasting methods, demand sensing, and predictive analytics. Strong proficiency in Excel and demand planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan). Experience working in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce industries preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Experience with S&OP processes and driving consensus across departments.
