Make a difference as a Account Manager, Vendor Relations
As the Vendor Relations Account Manager at VillageCare, you will report directly to the Director of Vendor Management & Delegation Oversight, playing a crucial role in managing relationships with delegated vendors, including Dental, Vision, Behavioral Health, and Non-Emergent Transportation Benefit Managers. Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring and evaluating performance against VCM's contractual and regulatory standards while identifying opportunities for operational improvements. You will collaborate with various VCM business units to ensure consistent workflow and effective communication throughout processes. Furthermore, you'll develop and execute auditing protocols aligned with service level agreements, analyze critical data, and prepare oversight reports. As an account management liaison, you'll drive compliance, facilitate timely resolutions for vendor-related issues, and contribute to strategic planning that enhances vendor performance and operational excellence. Regular interaction with the Director will ensure that organizational goals are met, making this position vital to VillageCare's commitment to quality care.
What we're looking for in a Account Manager, Vendor Relations
To excel as a Vendor Relations Account Manager at VillageCare, candidates must possess a college degree (BS/BA) and a deep understanding of NYS and CMS healthcare regulations. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in managed care operations with a strong emphasis on vendor management, particularly within government programs like Medicaid and Medicare, is essential. Successful applicants will be strategic thinkers equipped with excellent organizational skills, enabling them to analyze complex data and identify areas for operational improvement. Leadership strength should be demonstrated through proactive engagement and action. Furthermore, strong communication and presentation skills are required for effectively liaising with various levels of management and influencing employees across departments.
