Job Description The Behavior Support Specialist will work with youths who have behavioral challenges and provide support to help them achieve their goals. The specialist will work with a team of professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans, provide training to staff and caregivers, and monitor progress. Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments Develop and implement behavior support plans Provide training to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies Monitor progress and make adjustments to behavior support plans as needed Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and social workers, to provide comprehensive support Document and maintain accurate records of services provided Attend meetings and provide updates on progress
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
