As a Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with the Product Management, Software Development Engineering, User Experience Design, and Customer Support groups to understand the product vision, requirements and customer usage models and develop appropriate release strategies. You will be executing the TPM team’s technical vision and roadmap, developing and tracking project schedules.The role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with a high-energy team of software engineers, product managers, marketers, customer service leads as well as external partners (like Factory OEMs).This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, thrives in a dynamic environment, understands the diverse perspectives of stakeholders to deliver complex programs, raises the bar on technical excellence, shows thought leadership, and communicates well to different audiences.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
