Job Description
The Territory Manager will oversee a specific territory, acting as a liaison between company headquarters and the company's presence in their region. The primary job is to increase sales volume by cultivating relationships with retail partners and field leadership. This role drives strategic initiatives for increased sales and market share through retail sales training, merchandising, and assisted selling.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with store management and regional management within a specific area or market.
Identifying new sales opportunities for incremental displays within assigned stores in territory. Conducting store training to sales reps, acting as subject matter expert. May assist in soft selling of client products. Learn product details and communicate them to diverse audiences.
Gather market and compensation insights.
Property reporting of activities through online reporting system. Meeting the physical requirements - listed below.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
Minimum Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•3+ years of experience performing in-store merchandising with knowledge of Wireless Industry •Experience in retail, retail operations, retail distribution, merchandising, sales, marketing or within a service organization •Strong selling, presentation, and computer skills.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Job may require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment weighing less than 15 pounds. This position involves viewing a computer monitor for more than 30% of the time.
