Perform preventative maintenance as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform preventative maintenance on all guest rooms using the approved check list. This will include, but not limited to, replacing lamps, repairing wallpaper, caulking, tile grout, faucets, toilets, changing filters, furniture repair, painting, etc. Maintain Marriott logs and inspection sheets. Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks, i.e. replace HVAC filters, etc. Replace ceiling light bulbs in the public and office areas of the hotel. Support the GXP Program throughout the hotel. Learn and utilize all essential functions of GXP from accepting, starting, stopping if needed, adding notes, adding pictures, etc.… on all Service Orders and PM orders. Give all Emergencies & Guest Occupied rooms the highest priority. Check work orders daily to follow up on any that needed parts or any that may be left from the previous day. Perform repair work given on all service orders and PM Orders and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Handle minor repairs of wall vinyl, woodwork, etc. using basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. Aide other engineers in completing repair and maintenance work on the building and equipment that requires more than one person. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS : In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Director of Engineering and/or the General Manager based upon the particular requirements of the Hotel. OTHER: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the hotel from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Team Members with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. As a Performance Engineer - Aftertreatment , you will: Perform testing and simulation of engine aftertreatment components Field test calibration development and data analysis Development and ownership of the calibrations across multiple programs This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree required 1+ years minimum relevant working experience, Diesel engine knowledge Familiarity with engine diagnostics, calibration, and simulation treatments Test Cell and vehicle testing knowledge Experience with MATLAB and/or Simulink Proficiency writing MATLAB scripts and functions (1 year professional experience or 3 academic projects using MATLAB).
