Rework Technician
Job Description
As a Rework Technician you will be responsible for contributing improvement of quality through the rework department in the following areas:
Safety:
Identifies safety Hazards Reports any safety concerns Helps resolve safety issues Must be able to lift 35 lbs. as part of the job function
Quality:
Verifies quality on a continuing basis Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality systems.
Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels Verify the implantation of solutions
Productivity:
Reviews RMA units Reviews RMA parts Completes Model Changes Verifies quality on all inspected units Verifies quality on all warranty replacement units
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Fork Lift license will be required Demonstrates effective problem solving skills Has ability to read gauges, instruments, perform assembly and operate small tools Possess basic computer skills Excellent organization and documentation Knowledge of materials, method and the tools involved in the construction of units
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are excepted to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations Schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (8 hours)- Starting hourly rate from $13.50 (no experience required- we will train up) up to $18.50 (with 5+ years of relevant, manufacturing experience)
You will receive 5% employer match on 6% employee contribution to 401K- worth at least $1,400. Also- quarterly pay progression review; holiday pay; and first year paid vacation of up to 40 hours after 3 months training period! Plus, earn a monthly production bonus of up to $2.00 extra for every hour worked in a month for reaching production targets!
Work Environment: Noisy, varying temperatures depending on the season
