Key Responsibilities - Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions. - Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date monitoring. - Process prescription orders, inputting information accurately into the computer system. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues. - Maintain organized and clean workspaces, including the pharmacy counter and storage areas. - Handle insurance claims and process billing information for prescription orders. - Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information. - Help with the packaging and labeling of medications for distribution. - Follow pharmacy regulations and protocols to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards. - Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on pharmacy practices and developments. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in customer support, service, or success roles, preferably in healthcare and/or high-growth startups (1+ years). - Experience in a retail pharmacy environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on details. - Pharmacy Technician certification is required; assistance can be provided in obtaining this certification.
