Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the events industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from concept to completion. You will be responsible for supporting our events team in a range of tasks including logistics, vendor management, and participant engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to execution. Serve as a point of contact for vendors and suppliers ensuring timely deliverables. Help manage event logistics including venue selection, catering, and transportation arrangements. Assist in creating event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage. Support the registration process by managing participant lists and inquiries. Contribute to marketing efforts for events, including social media promotion and email communication.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A genuine interest in event planning and a desire to learn and develop within the industry.
