Overview: Salary $46,000 year
Scope of Position
Provide solutions to regional employers to meet their workforce development needs
Market PA CareerLink services to the Berks County business community
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Share information on solutions found in regional Best Practice Report as well as any additional insight gathered during meetings with regional businesses
Provide feedback to the Workforce Development Board/Management Team regarding important trends & topics related to workforce from an employers perspective
Conduct research, facilitate focus groups, write reports and perform other project-related functions
Contact employers by phone or in person and attempt to schedule face-to-face meetings
Serve as Lead for the implementation of new initiatives/project as they are assigned
Marketing PA CareerLink services to the Berks County business community
Develop a network for potential business leads. Analyze and understand current labor market information.
Identify and place individuals into traditional OJT opportunities
Serve as presenter for employer related information when necessary
Analyze and understand current labor market information
Represent local areas participation in regional workforce initiatives
Interface with other company departments and employees
Provide, as required, target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
Complete job task analyses and skill gap analyses using Skilldex and/or WorkKeys profiling
Assist with the development of marketing materials and outreach initiatives
Represent CareerLink at conferences, meetings and select social functions as required
Enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities
Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly and annual basis

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
Marketing and sales experience preferred
Customer service experience required
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Must have strong communication skills (written/verbal)
Good interpersonal skills
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Human Resources preferred
Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and comfortable with using, and/or learning to use, programs related to marketing material design
Valid drivers license and an automobile are required
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish), but not required
1-3 years of relevant work experience required
