As a Contract Specialist, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities relating to contract management, compliance, and healthcare regulations, with a strong focus on the amendment and drafting of Word Documents. Responsibilities: • Overseeing all aspects of contract management, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently and within the standards of the industry. • Ensuring adherence to contract compliance procedures. • Catering to the nuances of contract law, applying it effectively in the healthcare environment. • Drafting and amending contracts, utilizing Word Documents proficiently to execute these tasks. • Staying up-to-date with the latest healthcare regulations and incorporating them into the contract management process. • Conducting regular audits of contracts to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or discrepancies.• Proficiency in Contract Management, including the ability to handle amendments and ensure contract compliance • Solid understanding and application of Contract Law • Familiarity with Healthcare regulations and how they apply to contracts within the NHS • Experience in creating, editing and managing Word Documents • Previous experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS industry is preferred • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential contract issues • Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects at once, while meeting deadlines.
