Position Summary The Resident Assistant/Care Aide delivers quality assisted living services focused on maximizing residents’ individual capabilities in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. Makes routine rounds as scheduled and checks with residents to ensure care needs are being met. Assists residents with clothing choices appropriate for the day’s weather, clean and stain-free. Assists with incontinent residents, routinely checking clothing and linens to keep residents clean and dry. Assists residents with ambulation and use of walkers, canes, wheelchairs, etc. Assists residents during meal times in the dining area. Encourages residents to participate in activities. Shampoos hair weekly if not done by beautician. Makes beds daily and performs light housekeeping duties in resident apartments and common areas as designated. Prepares residents for activities, meals, appointments, etc. Delivers meals and assists with setup or feeding as needed. Verifies residents are present for meals and checks on those not attending unless notified otherwise in advance. Job Description Scope of Position: The position of Chaplain Resident provides an opportunity for education, training and service in pastoral care within the Department of Chaplaincy and CPE. The Chaplain Resident is a student in the OSU Medical Center's accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program and a temporary full-time employee for one year during the specified timespan of their residency program. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: • Oversee project scope, scheduling, contractor procedures, and resolution of construction issues, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints. • Ensure that all project submittals, schedules, insurance documents, and other contract requirements are submitted accurately and on time to the relevant stakeholders for approval. • Conduct regular meetings with contractors, facility personnel, design consultants, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress, address concerns, and make decisions to keep the project on track. • Record and distribute detailed meeting minutes to all relevant parties to document discussions, decisions, and action items. • Verify that all required material inspections and tests are conducted according to specifications and properly documented. • Keep thorough records of inspections, photos, shop drawings, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance and facilitate project close-out. • Generate and manage correspondence between the owner and the General Contractor regarding project progress, issues, and resolutions. • Assist with the final project close-out process, including gathering necessary documentation, conducting inspections, and addressing any outstanding issues. • Perform role of RE/Office Engineer in their absence.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET/EAC accredited program. • P.E. License and/or R.A. preferred but not required. • Minimum experience of three (3) years as Assistant Resident Engineer, four (4) years as Office Engineer, or five (5) years as Inspector in the Water Supply or Wastewater Sector. • Familiarity with NYCDEP Standards and Requirements. • A valid driver’s license is required. • OSHA 30-hour construction safety, and fall protection, confined space and permit required confined space entry and certification in work zone safety. • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities. • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Expedition, OneDrive, SharePoint, eBuilder, and MS Teams. • Must be willing and able to work night and weekend shifts, as well as to accommodate late or early hours as necessary.
