Job Description Job Description We are in search of an IT Manager to join our team located in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves coordinating, planning, and managing all IT resources, including vendor and asset management, as well as overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure for the organization.
Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the helpdesk, ensuring support tickets are monitored and escalated when necessary. • Focus on network security risks, stay updated on emerging security threats, technical challenges, and developments in system protection and IT security standards. • Implement new security measures and processes as required. • Function as a liaison between remote team members and helpdesk staff. • Manage IT projects and the implementation of infrastructure improvements. • Control employee access to devices and company systems. • Conduct regular physical inspections of the infrastructure at each location and coordinate maintenance as needed. • Inventory, purchase, and track workstations and equipment, issuing new hardware as directed. • Manage vendor relationships, including handling of vendor invoices. • Generate reports on infrastructure projects, hardware purchases, and vendor performance, and brief the relevant personnel. • Identify process improvement opportunities related to IT and develop proposals for upper management. • Facilitate technology training for employees when necessary. • Ensure the effective implementation of networking, disaster recovery, and technical solutions. • Oversee the onboarding of new properties/assets as needed. • Develop and manage software support positions and employees. • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential for efficient network management. • Thorough understanding of Cloud Technologies is required to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval. • Demonstrated experience with CRM is necessary for effective customer relationship management. • Familiarity with Dell Technologies will be beneficial for the handling of company hardware. • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial for managing business processes. • Knowledge of Active Directory is essential for managing user data, security, and distributed resources. • Auditing skills are required for conducting systematic and independent examinations of data, statements, records, operations, and performances. • Proficiency in Backup Technologies is necessary to ensure data protection and recovery. • Familiarity with Computer Hardware is essential for managing and troubleshooting company systems. • Experience in Configuration Management is necessary to ensure system performance, stability, and security.
