These concern your background, overall health and other standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense and federal law.Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to one of the following specialties: aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical, computer, electrical, electronics, communication or mechanical Qualifications Completion of the Defence Acquisition University Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management course or Acquisition Fundamentals course Completion of the Air Force Flight Test Engineer course or comparable Minimum of 24 months of experience in qualified position or a master’s degree in a specified discipline and 12 months’ experience or a Doctor of Philosophy degree in a specified discipline Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42 nd birthday

Job Description: • Performs entry-level technical activities to create new or modify existing products, processes, prototypes, fixtures, and/or tools in support of the company's strategic plan. • Works with team to apply engineering and scientific principles to evaluate and resolve technical problems with supervision from technical lead and/or manager. • Supports continuous quality improvement. Principal Responsibilities: • Daily tasks/duties/skills: Written/verbal communication with packaging suppliers. • Written/verbal communication within client organization. • Presentation drafting skills (PowerPoint presentations). • Statistical evaluation/ data compilation and management (use of Minitab or Microsoft Excel). • Technical thought/writing (engineering test protocols, documentation, reporting, analysis). • Lab testing work (testing of package components in lab environment). Skills: • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Microsoft Office skills (Office and Excel). • Minitab and Power BI good to have but not required. • Understanding of basic and advanced engineering concepts. • Ability to apply technical and practical knowledge of engineering principles. • Experience using business collaboration tools. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Manufacturing, or Packaging). Additional: • 1 in-person or virtual interview • Will consider someone right out of school, but would prefer no more than 2-3 years experience.
