We are currently seeking an experienced Billing & Customer Care Specialist to join our team!
Job Summary The Billing & Customer Care Specialist is responsible for the daily billing processes, coverage of customer care duties as needed for the Customer Care team, and management of the sampling collateral in Columbus, MS. No direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing of daily billing documents Create daily invoicing and order intake dashboard reports used by business and executive management Completing subcontract transactions in SAP necessary for billing Reconciling off-site warehouse inventory monthly Responsible for the management of sampling collateral including, but not limited to, receiving and reconciling sampling collateral inventory, filling sample orders and facilitating customer shipments daily Provide back-up to customer care colleagues when they are out of office to include the following: Receive, process, and own customer purchase orders from the time of order entry to delivery of material Initiate customer sample requests, request for quotes and other customer inquiries Proactively communicate orders statuses Assist in the collection of customer past-due payments when necessary Partner with commercial team in support of customers’ needs Build relationships with customers and internal partners
Other administrative duties as assigned – assist with cycle count reconciliation, goods receipts for offsite warehouses and direct shipments, coding of freight invoices, assist with audit requests
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of applicable software including Excel spreadsheets and SAP programs to record and report information critical to managing sales data Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to all levels of management Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and fellow employees Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to define issues, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, business forms and memos utilizing instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms Education and Experience:
High School Degree/GED 3 years’ experience in customer service, sales, supply chain SAP Experience Preferred.

Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; bend; kneel; squat; climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms Travel Requirements: No Travel required.
