MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II
REPORTS TO:
DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE
POSITION HOURS:
Monday – Friday – 8:00AM – 5:00pm; with the possibility of Nights, weekends, holidays, and as needed for projects and staffing needs. POSITION PURPOSE: Assist the Maintenance Director in the day-to-day appearance and operations of all indoor and outdoor facilities. Responsibilities include advanced skilled maintenance, equipment repairs, and projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A.
Provide and promote excellent customer service at all times. B.
Perform daily facility inspections to identify operational/mechanical problems and provide immediate maintenance/service support. C.
Maintain all fire and security alarm systems. D.
Be available and reachable outside of normal business hours to react to emergency failure situations. E.
Responsible for inventory control on tools and repair parts; make recommendations to the Maintenance Director when inventory is running low. F.
Perform a variety of advanced skilled building maintenance and repairs, such as plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, framing, carpentry, carpet and tile flooring repair using a high level of independent judgment.
G.
Assist the Maintenance Director in monitoring all maintenance contract work performed by outside contractors. H.
Perform special projects independently without supervision or direction. I.
Assist with daily job planning related to assigned projects, which includes design, generating material list, scheduling, and time management. J.
Use advanced knowledge to read, interpret and work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints; use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely. K.
As assigned, assist, supervise, train, and organize the work duties of Maintenance Technician I. L.
Execute proper preventive maintenance tasks without supervision or direction. M.
Attend mandatory staff meetings as well as in-service training programs and become extremely familiar with the department’s emergency plan. N.
Performs other duties as assigned. O.
Abide by the policies & procedures outlined in the PAC Employee Handbook.
QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Graduate or equivalent ·
3-5 years’ experience working with maintenance or construction. ·
Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting all mechanical aspects of a club such as pools, spas, heat ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) systems, which may include boilers, air conditioning units, electrical panel circuits, lighting, fire/security alarm system and plumbing, and overall facets of building construction. ·
Excellent customer service and communications skills with a positive attitude handling daily maintenance request ·
Maintain CPR certification ·
Team player ·
