The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who enters our facility. This role is crucial in maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors warmly and ascertain their needs. Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous manner. Manage the scheduling of appointments and meetings. Maintain the reception area and ensure it is tidy and welcoming. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and record keeping. Provide information about the company and its services. Collaborate with various departments to support office operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist or in another customer service role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. A friendly, professional demeanour and a positive attitude.
