Job Description Job Description Description: Job Summary: This is a professional position responsible for the continuous improvement of plant processes, control systems and equipment upgrades/replacement. Ensures that the facility is capable of manufacturing and finishing our products in the most efficient manner with minimal downtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Analyze plant processes, control systems, and implement improvements. Integration of new equipment for efficient and SAFE operation. Assist maintenance troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes when requested. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to expand and maintain the SCADA system. Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions on existing equipment to improve uptime. Maintain quality and ensure safety standards are upheld. Work with outside contractors on CapEx projects as needed to meet budget and timelines. Monitor and analyze control systems to improve reliability and reduce cycle times. Other reporting and duties as assigned. Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems. • Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow. • Technical proficiency in Rockwell software applications. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. • Accountability for performance. • Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology. • Written and oral communication proficiency. • Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
Education and Experience: · Associate degree in Mechatronics or electrical engineering required · 2+ years related experience preferred
