Blair, NE Anova is seeking a Sr. Software Product Manager to lead and oversee our software product development efforts. In this role, you will drive the strategic direction of our software products. You will be responsible for defining product goals, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring cohesive integration with Anovas advanced hardware solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of both software and hardware development and an ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality products. About the Role:
Product Strategy & Vision : Define and communicate the strategic vision for Anovas software products, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. Roadmap Planning & Execution : Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that balances hardware timelines, market needs, and software capabilities. Work with Product Owners to prioritize and align deliverables. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with hardware teams to ensure software and hardware products are integrated seamlessly and deliver a unified user experience. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to align product objectives with business goals and user needs. Stakeholder Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for product-related updates, facilitating open communication across teams and keeping executives informed of product developments. Customer Insights & Requirement Gathering : Lead efforts to gather customer feedback, market insights, and stakeholder requirements to inform product priorities and future planning. Product Quality & Delivery : Oversee quality assurance processes in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring that all software products meet Anovas high standards of functionality and user experience. Market & Competitive Analysis : Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technology to guide product strategy and maintain Anovas competitive edge. Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks related to hardware-software integration, proactively addressing any issues that could impact product quality or timelines. Metrics Monitoring & Business Case Development : Establish and track key product metrics to assess performance, build business cases for new initiatives, and ensure that all products meet their strategic and financial goals.
Team Interaction with Product Owners : As a key part of the Anova product team, you will work closely with the Product Owners.
Provide Strategic Direction : Establish high-level product goals and priorities that each Product Owner will translate into specific software features and detailed requirements. Guide Roadmap Alignment : Coordinate with Product Owners to ensure that individual roadmaps align with overarching strategic goals, business objectives, and hardware timelines. Facilitate Cross-Functional Communication : Lead communication across teams, setting up Product Owners to work seamlessly with hardware, design, and engineering teams.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Experience : 3+ years in product management, ideally in a technology-driven, hardware-software integrated environment. Technical Proficiency Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles. Familiarity with hardware development processes and how they integrate with software.
