Field Machinery Installations Engineer

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Join our Installations & Commissioning team to oversee equipment installation, ensure quality, and provide on-site support. Coordinate with departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure the successful installation and startup of machinery. Provide troubleshooting assistance, align equipment, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Responsibilities:
Oversee equipment installation to engineering specifications.
Liaise with customers during installation and startup phases.
Manage contractors and resolve issues with support from engineers and suppliers.
Provide technical assistance and training to operators and maintenance staff.
Perform mechanical quality assurance and align motor couplings, belts, and other mechanical systems.
Update drawings to "as built" standards and submit service reports.
Assist with troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
Perform field checks and offer feedback for equipment manuals.
Requirements:
Degree/certification in engineering technology or related field; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Minimum 4 years of engineering experience, with 2-4 years in servicing converting equipment preferred.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
80% domestic and international travel required (valid passport needed).
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 management systems is a plus.
Skills:
Hands-on, self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to plan, schedule, and manage daily activities.
Experience with optical alignment and equipment installation troubleshooting.
