Job Description Job Description CBIZ has been engaged by our well established Melville, NY based manufacturing client, a premier provider in their industry, to identify full-time Customer Service Representatives . MUST have 2+ years of high-volume telephone Customer Service experience dealing with tangible products.
ERP experience a plus. State-of-the-art modern facility!
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of customer inquiries and requests to include product selection, sample and catalog requests, non-stock items, basic returns, price quotes, special pricing, and status of orders. Provide information regarding products and promotional opportunities to customers. Communicate with clients via phone and email using proper phone and email etiquette. Builds rapport and trust with clients to maximize customer loyalty. Demonstrate competency in products and services. Follow up to make sure all orders ship in a timely manner and follow up on any out-of-stock issues.
Work Experience Requirements
High volume telephone customer service experience 2 years prior customer service - **must be from a tangible products related industry. Proficient in English for professional environment, both verbal and written Experience using web-based service and/or e-Commerce tools (i.e., ERP program for order processing, Salesforce, Word, or MS Excel) Ability to work with different types of personalities in a professional, positive manner.
