Click Here to see our benefits What You Will Do: Wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment, maintaining a clean work area, following proper lifting and other work procedures, understanding SDS and the requirements of working with chemicals, following equipment procedures, etc. Executing basic Safety and Quality system work pertaining to functional work areas/tasks, such as WTL, BBO's, Near Miss identification and documentation, Quality Observations, etc. Completing all critical Trainings in a timely manner Determining packaging material needs from pack sheet. Obtaining correct labels and glue. Also checking for proper RM code on other (cases, dividers, drums, bottles, pails, lids, caps, liners, etc.) supplied items, as necessary. Setting up filling machine(s), tapers, glue machines, scales and other equipment as needed Support all packaging line changeovers inclusive of hook-ups, sampling, and line unit operations Ensuring quality of filled containers in terms of proper weight and appearance including labeling accuracy, completeness and positioning, date code accuracy, legibility and position, container cleanliness, etc. Checking product and package appearance for any inconsistencies from specification. Unusual product or package appearance should be brought to the attention of the Team Leader immediately. Conducting line checks including Team Leader sign off on quality tests at the beginning and end of each production run to ensure product purity and documenting production and quality data as required. Packaging products per specification and when applicable to FDA guidelines and requirements, meaning in a manner that conforms with laws pertaining to transportation of chemicals, meets customer needs, and ensures that the product arrives at the destination intact. Loading individual or boxed products on good quality pallets manually or using material handling equipment. Maintaining work areas to standard by executing tasks related to systems of AM, CIL, 5S, Defect Handling, etc. Accurately maintain Vorne system or other production racking system in usage Take part in TPM and Focused Improvement teams/projects within the area Perform required SAP inventory and material use transactions Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned by leadership within labor grade and lower job classifications once training is obtained. ProScape Lawn and Landscape Services, LLC (www.proscape-services.com) , a leading landscape services company located in Central Ohio, is actively searching for a Production Manager who has extensive experience in commercial/residential mowing, landscaping, hardscaping, and snow removal. Knowledge regarding safety and or OSHA 10 certification is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable. This position will largely focus on training new field team members on how to perform their new job role efficiently and safely. They will work closely with our Account Managers to ensure the highest quality service for our customers. This position will also be responsible for visiting sites and performing quality site assessments (QSA's). As part of the QSA's, they will have to be able to work with and coach team members on opportunities for improvement. Site Safety Audits, Daily Toolbox talks, and general oversight of the company safety policy is also part of this role. As a production manager, you must understand and champion our production processes and always be coaching your team members on how to provide a better service, more efficiently. The ability to communicate and propel different personalities to give their best is essential in this role. When needed, this role will be responsible for temporarily filling a crew leader position. This role oversees multiple crews and must be able to keep all crews moving in a cohesive direction to accomplish company wide targets. Also, as part of this job role, you could occasionally be asked to work hours outside of your standard set hours to appease customer's needs. There will be times that this position would require you to meet with a customer and discuss a project or service that one of the crews is working on. Great customer service skills are a necessity.
