Primary Responsibilities Include: • Prepare HVAC and plumbing construction documents including site investigations, drawings, specifications, and reports for commercial, residential, municipal and institutional buildings. • Design ductwork, natural gas piping, hot/cold water, sanitary, and other HVAC & plumbing plans including associated details, diagrams, and specifications. • Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing and selections. • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, design team members and support staff. • Communicate with equipment vendors and manufacturers' representatives for selection and specification of Building Systems equipment. • Conduct job site observations, surveys and inspections as necessary. • Manage projects and conduct project meetings with clients. • Perform construction administration activities and interface with contractors, owners and vendors. • Collaborate with and mentor engineering and design technicians.
