Insurance A/R Specialist
This position is not to obtain claim status, but to effectively work A/R resulting in payment Must have comprehensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations. Ability to read EOBs. Familiarity with government and commercial payers as well as the various products offered by each carrier. Ensuring insurance is reimbursing at the correct, contracted rate. Experience with working rejections, denials efficiently to receive payment Appeals - the ability and experience to write an effective appeal resulting in payment E-Clinical Works experience preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience required The most crucial skillset needed for this role is to have a working knowledge of insurance policies and procedures and how to effectively work an A/R report. Anyone can call an insurance company and ask for claim status, we need a candidate who will question what insurance is telling them and work our denials and rejections effectively resulting in payment!
