Position Description: The Kitchen Staff serve a important and critical role by being able to directly serve the residents and community in the Community Center.
Responsibilities:
Deliver extraordinary service to residents in a courteous, professional manner Support the food and beverage operation by taking orders, preparing food and assisting in additional duties assigned Process and handle payments for orders Serve as additional staff for events within the community including set up, executing, and take down which may include moving large objects (i.e, tables, chairs, etc.) Occasionally serve food at dinners/events Professionally communicate with residents, team members and vendors in person, via e-mail or phone Provide support to association’s clubs, events and groups Utilize multiple software platforms to provide a variety of services and information to residents Embrace flexibility and change with additional duties that may be assigned in order to assist the community
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required Professional kitchen/cooking/restaurant experience preferred A drive and passion to assist others Ability to perform under deadlines and pressure combined with strong problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Motivated and self-starter Ability to build rapport with residents, team members and vendors Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows Must be able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to nights and/or weekends Able to carry and move items up to 30 pounds Requirements: Must be flexible to working nights and weekends
