Job Description Job Description ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities: a) Manage Service Department – Full service Kubota dealership Ag and CE, Industrial Forklifts sales and rentals Providing direction and leadership required to achieve professional technical services at profitability and quality standards Conducts regular service meetings and training sessions to communicate company objectives and policies, to Provides technical and troubleshooting assistance Order sublet repairs as needed Work with technicians and Kubota on issues the technicians need help on and provide guidance and materials to help compete the job
Responsible for determining repair methodologies and job flows to maximize the effectiveness, the efficiency and the customer satisfaction of the service functions Review of all service efficiency and management reports and reporting methods Disciplines service group personnel, within company policies, including termination Recruiting, hiring and training of all service employees b) Customer Service Assist walk in customers for service and parts as needed Schedule call in customers for service and repair Quote customers for service parts and labor Quote insurance repairs for customers Create service-related tickets Obtain signed quotes from customers Continuing to keep customers updated on progress c) Warranty Schedule call in customers for service and warranty Filing warranties and follow-up on payments d) Work in Progress (WIP) Print WIP reports twice weekly and go over open tickets and status Work with parts to receive backorder parts information Work on closing orders as quickly as possible, so that we can bill the customer Jobs should be closed within two business days of the machine being completed e) Administrative Tasks Monitor PTO and absence requests Annual analysis of monthly budget and adherence to, ensure budget is carried out Year-end budget projections and prepare annual budget for service department and building maintenance and capital expenses Work with vendors f) Building Maintenance Ensure all building and vehicle maintenance is performed Create purchase order requests for building and vehicle maintenance and repair g) Safety involvement Participate in safety programs and other companies required training programs Handle other duties and special projects as assigned

Education/Training/Experience :
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations and labor selling at the management level
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills Good communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills Solid knowledge of the computer systems in use in the dealership Working knowledge of office equipment operations Good understanding of financial reporting principles Leadership skills in a specialized repair environment Ability to handle conflict Good business acumen Ability to maintain a positive presence in the workplace This individual will have supervisory and management training in related fields

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amounts of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are occasionally required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Keying data is repetitive motion and is frequently required. The worker is occasionally subject to noise and to temperature effects when walking through the shop, but this position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
