Job Summary: The Accounting Specialist supports the Lead Accountant with the financial affairs of the organization. The Accounting Specialist will ensure that all accounting practices and procedures are followed and that all data in the system is accurate. Essential Functions:

Monthly journal entries and account reconciliation. Own completion for daily deposits and posting of cash receipts. Processing of daily invoicing, accounts payable, chargebacks, and reconciliations of multiple accounts. Help with collection and processing of all A/R, A/P transactions. Other duties as assigned; these may be modified.

Specific Requirements:

Knowledge of ERP databases, experience with Macola software products preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels within the organization. Knowledge of financial reporting and the ability to apply it to an operational environment (GAAP knowledge preferred) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
