Job Description Job Description Summary The Giorgi Companies, Inc. (“TGCI”) is a diversified consumer products company with approximately 2,500 employees. Can Corporation of America (CCA), a subsidiary of TGCI and a leader in the manufacturing of 3-piece food cans is seeking a highly motivated hands-on individual who will play a major role in driving business retention & development initiatives. This role must successfully build strong relationships across all lines of business and functional departments within CCA as well as with strategic customers. Responsibilities
Responds to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers, answers questions regarding current and future needs, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financial arrangements. Responsible for entering the day to day sales orders as well as coordinating production and transportation needs with team member. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, working with plant personnel, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management. Maintain customer records, pricing, orders, and reports in SAP. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and key accounts, industry influencers, and key partners. Support Management with sales activities and special projects. Travel approximately 5% of the time with minimal overnight travel.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (preferred) 3+ years in customer service Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation and interpersonal.
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities. Results driven, able to focus on organizational growth and performance. Proficient computer skills to include all Microsoft Products. SAP experience a plus.
