Job Description Job Description Description: - Manages security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems. - Manages all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs. - Ensures network connectivity of all workstations, servers, and peripherals. - Administers all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. - Administers servers, including e-mail, database, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software. - Oversees the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices - Maintains documentation and technical specifications information. Administers all communication equipment, hardware and software upgrades. - Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. - Administers phone system infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice response, and video conferencing systems. - Updates procedures, and associated training for all network and telecommunication configuration, administration, and disaster recovery. - Administers and maintains end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights. - Participates server and security audits and disaster recovery testing. - Recommends, schedules, and performs network improvements, upgrades, and repairs. - Interacts with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services. - Supports the organization after hours as required. - Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members. Education/Experience: - Bachelors degree in the field of computer science AND/OR 4 years related work experience or equivalent experience. - Certifications in Microsoft and Cisco, VMware a nice to have - Technical experience in a financial institution a nice to have
