STRATEGIC INVESTIGATIVE AND CHARGING UNIT (SICU) GRANT
LIMITED TERM GRANT FUNDED POSITION
The Office of the States Attorney is currently seeking highly qualified applicant to fill one (1) grant vacancy of an Administrative Specialist 1G. This is a professional, technical, grant position in which the incumbent coordinates and supports the database activities of the agency, provides technical assistance to staff, generates reports and analytical information based on the data for public and internal use. Work is performed and evaluated under the supervision of the Principal Deputy States Attorney, and IT Manager.

SALARY: $125,000.00
FUNDING PERIOD: July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025
BENEFITS: LTGF employees of this grant are eligible for 40 hours of Sick and Safe leave once the required hours have been completed. Limited Term Grant Funded (LTGF) employees for this position are not eligible to participate in the Countys health care plans at this time.

TYPICAL DUTIES: Typical duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Serves as the Special Project Coordinator for the SAO Data Dashboard Project in conjunction with the implementation of the NICE project. Conducts data analyses and prepares reports on Agency operations. Prepares reports using data in the agencys case management system and other sources on outcomes, caseloads, dispositions, criminal trends, and operational details using Microsoft Power BI, Crystal Reports, and other programs. Creates and/or has knowledge regarding creating programs/scripts to extract data from the case management system. Identifies ways to improve the accuracy of data and the ability of staff to utilize it. Coordinates data acquisition and assist with data presentations on the agencys data dashboard. Provides technical support for database and case management systems. Conducts planning, improvement, & implementation of database systems. Coordinates with OIT, law enforcement and other agencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR CANDIDATES : Masters degree in computer science, mathematics, business or public administration, or closely related field, plus at least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Responsible experience in governmental activities related to the:
Management of case management databases. Preparation of reports utilizing Microsoft Power BI, Crystal Reports and/or other relevant programs. Creation of programs/scripts to extract data from various programs.
