Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: Training and Development Coordinator Under the direction of the VP of Property and Portfolio Management, foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and engagement. Role will design, develop, and deliver strategic employee learning and development programs including, but not limited to, management and leadership development, onboarding, and career development through various modalities including presentations to large or small groups, e-learning, interactive sessions, etc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, organize, and direct a wide range of processes and training activities to support portfolio and BPM team members. • Conduct engaging training sessions using various instructional techniques and formats, such as workshops, presentations, and e-learning. • Collaborate with department heads to determine training needs and implement training programs into company procedures. • Assess the training and onboarding needs by role within the organization and develop ongoing training programs, materials, and resources that build upon skill set, strengths, and growth opportunities for BPM team members. • Research, recommend and create training materials and classes for groups and individuals to foster initial and continuing education for all team members. • Assist with training new hires on company policy and Core Processes in collaboration with employee supervisors. • Schedule, track and evaluate team members learning paths in collaboration with employee’s supervisor. • Develop new, review existing and modify Core Processes as needed to integrate into Standard Operating Procedures across real estate owned portfolio. • Annually revisit all policies, procedures, and Core Processes to stay in line with industry standards. • Establish quarterly reporting on training initiatives and attendance. • Track successes and implement a recognition and incentive program. • Develop and promote learning opportunities that foster core values and company culture including training events, print/digital materials, and activities. • Lead by example by utilizing Core Processes, Training Manuals, and other departmental resources. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 5 years’ experience, or equivalent in Property Management • 3 years’ experience working in Smartsheet, AppFolio, RealPage, and GraceHill platforms or equivalent. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. • Self-starter and eager to help create new processes and identifying talent development opportunities. • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. • Highly proficient in compiling reports, creating dashboards and result summaries. • Attention to detail and highly organized. • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports. • Ability to effectively present information to top management, groups, and boards of directors • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Ability to manage priorities and workflow. • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. • Comfortable with public speaking in large, small, and individual groups.
