This role in summary: We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and self-motivated Purchasing Specialist to support our Customer Success department. The Purchasing Specialist will ensure customer orders are processed, shipped and delivered in a timely manner. They will accomplish objectives through the use of purchasing software, inventory control, time management, and effective customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide part and/or service quotes upon request by customers and Service Department · Research vendors and obtain price quotes for new items · Sales and Purchase order processing · Handle customer inquiries promptly. · Manage inventory and distribution of internal warehouse · Research customers for other parts related sales · May assist Service Manager in screening service calls. Requirements: Minimum Requirements: · High school diploma or the equivalent · 2+ years of consistent work experience.
Preferred Skills and Experiences: · Customer centric communication · Can work under pressure with tight deadlines. · Ability to effectively and efficiently use different software on the computer including the Microsoft suite of tools. · Highly efficient and organized · Can work individually and collectively as a team. · Ability to work in a climate controlled office, walk on concrete floors, lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitive keystrokes on a continual basis, and occasionally bend, kneel, twist, and reach
