About Us : ShipLogiq and BlueTime Inc. are sister companies operating as one unified entity dedicated to providing innovative logistics, e-commerce solutions, and third-party logistics (3PL) services. With ambitious growth plans and a focus on operational excellence, we are seeking a dynamic COO to lead and transform our operations across both businesses.
Role Overview : The Director of Operations will shadow the current COO, for 3-6 months to gain deep insight into the business, its operations, and its culture. This role demands a hands-on, high-energy leader who will oversee and streamline our logistics, operations, and 3PL infrastructure. The successful candidate will serve as the right-hand to the COO, taking charge of day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, and spearheading strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Strategy : Eventually transition into COO role, providing strategic oversight for both ShipLogiq and BlueTime Inc. 3PL Management : Oversee the operations and expansion of 3PL services, and ensuring seamless operations. Operational Excellence : Manage end-to-end logistics, operations, and e-commerce processes to drive growth and efficiency. Infrastructure Oversight : Ensure all clients benefit from a robust 3PL infrastructure, addressing their logistics needs effectively. Collaboration : Work closely with teams across Somerset, CA, and other warehouse locations, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration. Execution : Roll up your sleeves and engage directly in operational challenges, demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications : Proven experience as a VP or Director of Operations, or similar leadership role in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce industries. Expertise in 3PL operations and managing large-scale facilities. Strong business acumen and ability to understand and optimize complex operations. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and drive teams. Willingness to travel frequently and be fully committed to on-site work in Somerset, NJ.
