We are currently looking for a motivated and committed team member to join Hunter Truck in the Vice President/Senior Vice President of Parts Sales & Operations role.

SUMMARY The Vice President or Senior Vice President of Parts and Operations is responsible for overseeing a $250 million parts sales and distribution business within a large multi-state truck dealership business. This executive position reports directly to the CEO and plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth, profitability, and operational excellence in the parts division. The specific title and scope of the role will be determined based on the experience, expertise, and leadership capabilities of the chosen candidate. This flexible approach ensures that we find the right individual to drive growth and innovation at a level that aligns with their unique skill set.
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Hunter Truck Corporate (Pennsylvania)

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Ten plus years of experience in parts management or distribution, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of growing revenue and profitability in a parts-related business. Strong understanding of the truck dealership industry and parts distribution landscape. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding leadership and communication abilities. Experience with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel is required (20% travel) or 4-6 days per month spent meeting with customers, branch managers, and suppliers. Travel required, combined of local and overnights. Overnight stays will be required from time to time depending on the location, proximity to the corporate office and depending on the location’s needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Strategic Leadership Develop and execute long-term strategies to grow the parts’ business and increase market share. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the parts distribution network. Collaborate with other executives to align parts operations with overall company goals. Financial Management Drive profitability in the $250 million parts business through revenue growth and cost controls. Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to optimize profitability. Set and achieve financial targets for the parts division. Operations Management Direct the day-to-day operations of the parts distribution network, including warehouses and delivery logistics. Implement and optimize inventory management systems to ensure efficient stock levels and parts availability. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing and reliable parts supply. Customer Relations Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient parts delivery and quality service. Develop strategies to enhance customer experience and build long-term relationships with key accounts. Team Leadership Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of parts professionals. Oversee the performance of parts managers and distribution center leaders. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the parts division. Technology and Innovation Spearhead the implementation of advanced inventory management, e-commerce, and delivery systems. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Manage risk associated with parts inventory, pricing, and distribution.
