Job Description Job Description We are a family owned and veteran owned Insurance Agency in Woodstock, IL looking for a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager to manage our expanding personal lines book of business. SUMMARY OF PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER: A Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for handling the personal lines accounts from the first point of contact collecting information through binding and servicing the accounts. Must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and strong problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES OF PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Personal lines policy information collection Process new market and remarket submissions Quote and Finalize all personal lines business Distribute quotes to prospective customers and current customers with follow up to answer questions Bind all personal lines business including sending all documents and completing e-signatures Maintain document retention and document uploads, as needed per carriers Ability to cross-sell additional lines of insurance (optional) Assist clients with making coverage changes and complete all service requests for clients Provide billing support to customers Understand and discuss coverages with clients Develop good working relationships with the underwriters Direct client contact (not call center) on accounts with excellent customer service and conflict resolution Input data into appropriate software for vendors/carriers/clients within required timeframe Ensure that client issues are efficiently handled with resolution Mail personal policy documents, as needed Complete mailers for various monthly, quarterly, and as needed projects including monthly birthday mailers Establish and preserve a solid business rapport with clients o appropriate person, if needed Establish and preserve a solid business rapport with clients Maintain accuracy in agency management system, quoting system, and carrier systems Process commercial COIs, as needed Additional office projects, as needed
REQUIREMENTS OF PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Experience handling Personal Lines Insurance, Minimum 2 years Property and Casualty Insurance license Ability to operate various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.) Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks independently Strong Problem-solving skills
