Job Description Job Description Our client, a community hospital serving a diverse population in New York City, is seeking an Attending Anesthesiologist. Responsibilities:
Administer anesthetics to ensure patients are pain-free during surgical and medical procedures. Assess patients to determine surgical risks, appropriate anesthetics, and sedation, and discuss findings with the medical team. Document the type and amount of anesthesia and sedation administered, as well as patient condition before, during, and after anesthesia. Provide consultative, resuscitative, and therapeutic care for patients in shock, respiratory distress, or experiencing acute or chronic pain.
Requirements:
MD or DO degree. Completion of ACGME-approved residency in Anesthesiology. Board certified by the ABA or in the process of certification. Valid New York State license, DEA, and Medicaid number. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in public health systems preferred.
