Job Description Job Description Keville Enterprises is seeking a candidate with an electrical or transit background to provide inspection services to the installation of fare collection equipment on transit vehicles in the Boston, MA area. Specifically, in this role the Bus Inspector will be working with an experienced team of project managers, engineers, and technical specialists to ensure proper installation of new/upgraded vehicle systems. Job duties include: On-site oversight of fare collection equipment installations, devices and associated wiring (anticipated to be in various Boston, MA transit garages). Note and communicate to team members any issues as they arise. Identify any sticking points and provide feedback to the project team of any needs to support the installation. Provide end of day status updates on progress of the installations - inspection software will be provided. Daily communication with garage staff and installation team. Work hours are 5 days a week, on overnight shifts and may include day shifts, depending on project needs. Typical Overnight shift: Sunday through Thursday 7:30 PM to 4 AM Typical daytime shift: Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3 PM
Qualification: Experience with installing or inspecting electrical or transit installations. Experience working with transit vehicles preferred, but not required - willing to train the right candidate. Previous experience working around 'Right of Way' (ROW) and OSHA10 with active certification preferred, but not required - training course available. Proficient with the use of iPads.
