Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a nonprofit organization who is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this engaging role, you will report directly to the Director of FP&A and take charge of annual budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and supervising the work of the Financial Analyst. Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the annual budgeting process, focusing on revenue and OTPS expenses. Master budget templates in Adaptive Insights and train Analysts. Prepare forecasts by analyzing past trends and accounting for future changes/additions to programs. Compare and analyze actual results with prior year data, budgets, and forecasts. Run reports across multiple financial and reporting systems like NAV and Adaptive Insights. Develop new reports in Adaptive Insights and assist in Office Connect reporting. Gather data and prepare deliverables like FTE reporting. Present and communicate results effectively to leadership. Reconcile financial and payroll data in Adaptive Insights to Accounting and payroll systems. Work with large datasets and present findings clearly. Understand business needs for ad-hoc projects and present findings to the manager. Delegate and oversee the work of Analysts. Analyze financial statements, prepare budgets, forecasts, and business plans. Summarize and present data findings from large datasets. Generate and modify reports in NAV, Adaptive Insights, and Excel.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting – Master’s preferred. 5-7 years of experience – Medicaid and Grants knowledge desired. Excellent communication skills. Expert in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Adaptive Insights, MS Power BI, and NAV preferred. Strong attention to detail.
