Role Purpose: Provide leadership to Facilities and Engineering functions. Ensure facilities and equipment are in good state of repair, are maintained as per the Preventive maintenance schedules, ensure facilities and equipment meet or exceed regulatory compliances, enhance procedures and set corporate policies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained in good state of repair. Preventive maintenance program to be robust and all activities are completed as per the pre- established schedules. Use technology to predict breakdowns (example: anomaly detections using IoT sensors) Facilitate training programs to educate maintenance personnel as well as operators on equipment, instrumentation, computer systems using personalized On Job Training. Ensure compliance with the calibration program for all GMP equipment and instruments. Act as subject matter expert on all F&E qualification, validation activities, including risk assessments, protocol design reviews, factory acceptance testing, engineering studies and investigations. Participate and provide technical expertise for Facilities and Engineering Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement improvement projects. Focus on overall equipment effectiveness using bottleneck analyses and incremental improvements Ensure Facilities and Engineering department documentation is clear, concise and accurate with respect to processes and industry standards Lead/mentor staff, set expectations, write performance reviews, annual goals, hold one-on-ones Assists with maintaining building security and ensure staff response to building emergencies on a 24-hour basis Monitor’s contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization Order parts and maintain required documents Work towards sustainability of operations, to improve energy efficiencies, reduce carbon foot print and continuously modernize to stay ahead of the technology curve Assign the work-related duties for technicians and supervisors Comply with FDA guidelines/Company Policies of Data Integrity Other duties as assigned

Typical Supervisory Responsibility: This position includes managing both direct and indirect reports.

Education & Experience:
Education Requirement
Specialization (If any) BS Degree of Engineering from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field required MS Degree of Engineering preferred
Experience Requirement Number of Years Minimum 5 years engineering management experience required
