Job Description Job Description St. John's Residence for Boys is seeking a Trainer to become an integral part of our team! You will design, collaborate and conduct training to improve individual and organizational performance to meet agency mission/agenda. If you have a desire to "give back" to the community via service to others this is a unique opportunity for you. This is a full-time, permanent 35-hour work week, Monday-Friday w/some evenings/weekends as needed. *Valid NYS drivers' license is required Minimum Education/Qualifications: BA degree in social work, human services or related field required; Prior experience in training, human resources, or related field; ability to build rapport with all trainees; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation, organizational, tracking, and reporting skills. Brief Overview of Duties: The Specialist manages, designs, develops, coordinates, and conducts training for agency staff. The Specialist also plans, develops and monitors compliance with regulatory mandated training. In conjunction, this employee conducts analyses and evaluations of operational practices for our agency’s programs to assure those practices are following established mandates. The specialist performs all relevant duties and projects assigned under supervision from Director of Specialized Services and Operations. Required to travel to different agency sites.
