What you'll do: As the Project Manager II, you will manage and oversee many jobs / key strategic project processes that span across the environmental and/or industrial industries. You will review, analyze, evaluate, and record from the initiation process through to post-delivery process while providing technical support for customers and other internal customers. Project Manager Duties: Perform project processing requirements on time for numerous projects in different industries in Aerzen’s ERP system for production. Essential duties include: quality documentation review, ERP system navigation and processing, and technical support to various groups. Complete projects assigned using the Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure functions. Reports: Provide status reporting of all pertinent project activities against the program plan or schedule; Keeping direct supervisor, as well as Director of Operations, informed on project issues and status. Ongoing personal development: Maintains professional and technical knowledge development by attending professional workshops, reviewing internal documentation, developing job specific tools, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Maintains any project management related certifications. Production liaison: maintain status of project completion, estimation, and customer expectation with direct supervisor as well as production and operations. Strong commitment to meet customer expectations as well as quarterly and yearly goals. Strong fundamental understanding of blower equipment including the required processing and documentation for Hybrids, Turbos, MCP- AERprocess panels, PD blowers, Compressors, E-series compressors, High Vacuum machines and more. Capable of processing orders for both ENV and IND customer types. Customer relations: Act as the main point of contact for external customers, internal customers, sales representatives, engineers, and vendors, providing technical support as well as analytical solutions. Strong ability to grasp commercial implications of customer changes as well as anticipating schedule delays. Constant communication with the customer to ensure on time delivery of equipment. Acting not only as a project manager but also as a technical representative of the company providing solutions through change orders and other means. Gaining a fundamental understanding of Aerzen’s machinery and the groups they serve. Communication: Able to properly communicate tasks and problems to the proper team internally as well as following up on the completion of the various tasks/items. Capable of working with outside vendors or customers to ensure on- time procurement of fabricated machinery. Maintains equipment schedule with a strong understanding of possible holdups including but not limited to: equipment testing, witness testing, special freight preparation requirements for equipment, custom documentation, custom software programing, and more. Keeps constant communication with the sales team for issues with repeatable customers and possible solutions for ongoing problems. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Four-year college or technical school) Required in engineering, mathematics, sciences, or a related field with 2 - 5 years of relevant experience. Or 5 - 8 years of relevant technical experience directly related to blower technologies and its application.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of Project Management and/or project plan development, status/communications, Engineering design plans and risk management experience.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate Computer Knowledge: Able to create, use, navigate and perform reports at an Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Job Specific Software: Basic ability to create, use and retrieve project related information from ERP systems, scheduling software, etc.
Certifications & Licenses: PMP certification preferred, but not required.

Must have motivational skills and a strong sense of urgency to meet Customer commitments in a timely and “above expectations” manner. Hands-on experience utilizing lean manufacturing principles for continuous process improvements which drive productivity and profitability. Knows the fundamental components of a financial statement and it's meaning; Understands and can create a functioning budget and meet the budgetary terms. Identifies Aerzen products and understands their use for the job function. Able to work simultaneously on multiple projects and numerous tasks effectively.
