As a Quality Technician, youll help ensure that incoming materials meet all specifications and that finished products exceed customer and internal expectations. What youll be doing:
Inspect incoming products to ensure they meet specifications and drawings. Manage inventory across the plant when quality issues arise. Analyze and handle non-conforming items, documenting and reporting quality levels. Communicate effectively with team members to address and resolve quality concerns. Respond to production line calls regarding quality issues and assist in resolution. Follow up through the appropriate channels when quality concerns are identified.
Requirements:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, charts) and PowerPoint. Ability to learn or use Syteline ERP system. Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Flexibility to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. Basic understanding of Six Sigma and 6S practices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks that involve reaching, lifting, twisting, and repetitive motions. Alternating between sitting and standing positions in a production and office environment.
