Assist with creating weekly install schedules Visit sites to verify status Coordinate with salesmen for special install fabrication needs Oversee and assist with fabrication of installs Ensure all parts needed have been ordered and are received for jobs ready to be scheduled Contact suppliers for missing, damaged or incorrect parts Ensure all parts for installation are pulled and loaded on day of departure from Including caulk. Assist with loading jobs into installer vans Ensure that parts that return from an install are tagged and a return call is entered. g. - Decals, sweeps, thresholds, break metal, etc. Assist with measurements needed for storefront glass orders Track incoming shipment ETAs as needed for salesmen Fill in for shop personal as needed
Position Requirements
2+ years of experience in servicing and installing automatic doors 2+ years of Project Management Comfortable using power tools and hand tools – professionally or personally Mechanically inclined with a desire to continue learning Ready to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques Willing and able to work overtime with the possibility of weekends, as necessary Willing and able to be on-call, on a rotating basis with other ADW technicians Ability to stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights/use a ladder Familiar with basic computer skills, operating phone applications, and general communication via phone/email/messengers/text High school diploma/GED Unrestricted and valid US driver's license with a clean driving record Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
Preferred skills
5+ years of experience in one or more of these fields: construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, military, mechanical, or similar AAADM Certified Skilled understanding of mechanical, electrical systems, or wiring Strong problem-solving skills Organized, with a strong attention to detail Familiar with workflow within a construction job site or similar environment

Schedule:
10 hour shift Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed On call Overtime
