What Can You Expect
This position is responsible for supporting the Superintendent by assisting in the supervision of all on-site construction for the jobsite. Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork such as daily reports including pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew, field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues. Participate and speak to entire project team and trade contractors regarding schedule, safety, cleanliness and manpower needs to perform needed activities to successfully deliver the project on time. Develop and maintain a relationship with client, designers and inspectors to perform roles and responsibilities from beginning to completion.
What You Bring to the Table
Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role. May require performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials. Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader/BlueBeam, ProCore/ Project Sight and Viewpoint Field Work Center. May require controlling machines and processes by using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes. Must be trained in all required safety procedures with all associated certifications.
