Job Description Job Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Operations Lead in the heart of New York, New York, 10001, United States. As an integral part of our team in the sports media industry, your key role will be to oversee all aspects of account management for soccer contracts. You will be tasked with coordinating live motion graphics production, managing daily operations, maintaining equipment, and acting as the primary point of contact for our clients. Responsibilities: • Oversee the delivery of virtual graphics for live events, ensuring the smooth operation of software and hardware by our freelance operators • Collaborate with client production teams and broadcast / OTT departments, ensuring timely updates and reports to clients regarding the status of events and projects • Develop and implement processes in collaboration with the broader operations team, maintaining the highest quality assurance standards • Address, resolve, and escalate real-time issues during live broadcasts, working closely with the rest of our Operations team to efficiently share knowledge, resources, and staff • Train and assist operators in understanding and utilizing the tracking and keying features for best results on-air, while also recruiting new freelance operators to join the team as needed • Participate in planning calls with colleagues and clients, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills • Thoroughly test new build releases of our software to discover unexpected glitches and challenges in a controlled environment • Communicate with the development team to understand software capabilities and limitations, as well as provide feedback from the execution of live events • Handle last-minute updates from clients, demonstrating problem-solving skills and the ability to make necessary adjustments to events/projects under time pressure.• Proven experience of 5+ years in an operations lead role or similar. • Proficiency in broadcast engineering is essential. • Demonstrable experience in live broadcast environments. • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. • Experience in QA - Quality Assurance, ensuring the highest level of output. • Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and inspiring teams. • Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
