Responsibilities: A. Perform skilled fabrication welding, as required, for the manufacture of various fixtures and machines B. Fabricate a wide variety of metal structures from any of the following instruction methods: verbal instructions, blueprints, drawings, written specifications, etc. C. MIG, TIG, and/or Stick weld various material types such as: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, etc. D. Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained E. Participate in safety training and shop meetings as necessary F. Communicate consistently with team members G. Follow established processes, quality, and safety standards Requirements: A. 5-year minimum experience is preferred in welding, fabrication, and working with mild steel. B. Must have the ability to perform both vertical and horizontal welds. C. Proficient at reading blueprints with a strong understanding of various blueprint weld form symbols. D. Must have the ability to meet safety standards using appropriate welding techniques. E. Certifications in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding are required. F. Experience with metal band saws, drill press, grinders, plasma cutter(s), Oxy Acetylene torches, etc., is preferred. G. Must own basic hand tools.
