Job Description Job Description FishEye Software is actively seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the COBRA DANE radar system. In this vital role, you will design and develop software that enhances the system's functionality, ensuring it meets the strategic defense needs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware, maintain high standards of software performance, and uphold security and defense compliance. This position offers the opportunity to be deeply involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through integration and testing, making a direct impact on the functionality and operational excellence of critical defense radar technologies.
This position requires an active DOD Security Clearance
Required Skills:
B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8 years in software development, ideally within a Linux environment Proficient in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD processes Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) Experience with version control systems like GitLab, ClearCase, SVN, or similar
Desired Skills:
Background in radar or defense system technology Programming skills in Ada and experience with HCI platforms Knowledge of signal processing or L-band frequency radar systems Previous experience with military or space systems software development
