SUMMARY: Perform general labor inside and outside the physical buildings on varied shifts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Performs various maintenance tasks such as electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, masonry, mechanical, HVAC, etc. Performs general labor inside and outside the physical buildings, including grounds keeping, handling materials and supplies, moving equipment and supplies, operating power-driven equipment, snow plowing, mowing, etc. Performs general maintenance work inside and outside the physical buildings such as ceiling, roof, electrical, plumbing, concrete, masonry, glazing, insulation, tile, HVAC equipment and controls, pump and fan repairs, small equipment installation and/or repairs. Performs maintenance and repairs on building automation systems, chiller, boilers, wastewater, pool, kitchen equipment, fire alarm system and building controls. Maintains all safety and code requirements of the State, local and Board of Education guidelines. Follow-through on all work orders and preventive maintenance assignments, seeing that all phases of the assignment are completed in a timely manner, as well as giving status reports to the originator of the request and the Maintenance Director.
