Job Description Job Description POSITION TITLE Student Records Analyst APPOINTMENT Appointed by the Chancellor of the College upon the recommendation of the Chief of Staff and Executive Director of Workforce LINE AND STAFF RELATIONSHIPS The Student Records Analyst reports to the Registrar.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY The Student Records Analyst reports directly to the Registrar and is primarily responsible for maintaining student records within the RPCC Workforce Division. This team member will also assist with academic student record processing and be responsible for day-to-day communication, management, and official records of Workforce initiatives. JOB DUTIES:
Utilizes online platforms and various technological resources to enhance admissions, record-keeping, registration processes, and student communication. Inputs data from forms, records, reports, and other sources into the Banner student information system. Maintaining records and reporting on Workforce activities, encompassing programmatic and financial tasks. Supports the collection, recording, maintenance, and reporting of student records in accordance with FERPA guidelines, including grades, registration data, transcripts, mid-term verification, and related audits. Assists with transcript evaluations, gathers class grades from instructional staff, issues student grade reports, and processes grades. Aids in processing all student completions. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong analytical/organizational skills, detail oriented, and interpersonal/communication skills Ability to evaluate and determine priority of workload to meet deadlines and goals. Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials. Demonstrated Ability to: Assist with Admissions Office operations and services. Keep current with, interpret, and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to Student Services (Admissions) functions. Function in a multi-campus/site educational organization to promote the goals of the College. Effectively use technology and computer software programs, including MS Office. Work with a diverse population.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the job. Must have at least one year of experience performing clerical tasks of routine difficulty, including preparing and maintaining records. Must be committed to staff diversity, learning, and development.

A valid Louisiana Driver’s License (some travel may be required) Proof of motor vehicle insurance
